From March 4 to 6, 2025, Liechtenstein Marketing will be presenting the Principality at the largest international travel trade fair, ITB Berlin. The focus will be on the new digital guest card and the combination of outdoor and leisure travel.
The world's tourism industry is currently meeting in Berlin: ITB Berlin is the largest trade fair for the International Affairs travel industry. Over 90,000 professionals and media representatives are expected to attend over the three days of the trade fair. This is the second year in a row that Liechtenstein will be on site with the "House of Liechtenstein", and this year's miniature version of the parliament building is once again proving to be an eye-catcher, attracting numerous interested visitors. The Liechtenstein Marketing team establishes valuable contacts and cooperations with leading travel providers, media professionals and interested specialists.
Liechtenstein Reception with around 50 experts
The Liechtenstein Reception took place yesterday evening and was also attended by representatives of the Liechtenstein Ambassador in Germany. "Liechtenstein is the hidden gem in Europe. Away from mass tourism, it offers a wide range of attractions in a very small area," said Mathias Ulrich, Managing Director of Liechtenstein Marketing, opening the Liechtenstein Reception. Ulrike Charles then presented this year's highlights. These include the new milestone in Liechtenstein tourism: the new digital guest card, which will be in use from the summer. This innovative service will be available to all overnight guests and offer free use of public transport within Liechtenstein. Guests will also receive attractive discounts from selected partners.
The presence at the ITB in Berlin is an important opportunity to present Liechtenstein as an independent country with numerous outdoor, family and leisure experiences. It is also an opportunity to present the Principality as a friendly host to professionals and the media.
