Legal trainee ship - Office of Economic Affairs

The Office of Economic Affairs of the Liechtenstein National Administration (avw.llv.li) supports the government in the implementation of economic policy and is responsible for the enforcement of many different laws in the area of commercial law. Our areas of responsibility include Trade, Movement of Goods Division, Energy, Research and Location Promotion, Working Conditions Bureau and Occupational Safety, Gambling, Bureau of Intellectual Property and Bureau of Consumer Protection. We are also responsible for employment services and Unemployment Insurance Division.

International cooperation takes place in all areas of activity, and in particular we support numerous proceedings under European law within the framework of the EEA Agreement.

Your entry into practice

A varied and exciting field of activity awaits you in the legal department. You will gain insights into the processing of legal issues within our various bureaus and take on responsible tasks, including

  • legal analyses and clarifications in general and special administrative law
  • Collaboration on legislative projects
  • Supporting proceedings at the Office and in appeal bodies (e.g. drafting opinions)

Your internship will be recognized as "practical activity" within the meaning of the Lawyers' Act and the Lawyers' Examination Ordinance.
