On October 12, Liechtenstein Foreign Minister Frick and German Minister of Foreign Affairs Maas met for working talks at the Foreign Office in Berlin. It was the first official bilateral meeting since Heiko Maas (SPD) took over as Minister of Foreign Affairs in March. Minister Frick underlined the importance of a close partnership with Germany for Liechtenstein. Alongside Switzerland and Austria, Germany is the most important bilateral partner in Europe.
