During the closure of the Feldkirch - Buchs railroad line, the Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB is carrying out various maintenance work on the level crossings. These will therefore have to be temporarily closed to motorized traffic or traffic will have to be regulated with a traffic light system. As part of the closure, the State of Liechtenstein will also be installing the surface covering on Bahnhofstrasse in Schaan.


Closures and traffic restrictions

Railroad crossing at Bahnhofstrasse in Schaan:
Closure to motorized traffic from Friday, 23 August 2024 at 1 pm to Sunday, 25 August 2024 at 6 pm. The detour will be via Pardiel / Wiesengasse.

Rheinstrasse level crossing in Nendeln:
Single-lane traffic routing with traffic lights from Friday, August 23, 2024 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, August 25, 2024 at midnight.

Industriestrasse level crossing in Schaan:
Closure to all traffic from Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 8 am to Monday, September 2, 2024 at 5 am. The detour will be via the large traffic circle in Schaan.

Bretscha level crossing in Schaan:
Closure to all traffic from Monday, September 2, 2024 at 6 a.m. until Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10 a.m. The detour will be via Industriestrasse and Feldkircherstrasse.

The LIEmobil buses will run via the detour routes. Individual stops can therefore not be served.
