Who turned the clock?

… is it really that late already? As part of its newly launched systematic collection of quality indicators, the Office of Statistics has examined the timeliness of its annual publications. Timeliness is a key principle of the European Statistics Code of Practice. If data are published too late or irregularly, they lose their significance. Timeliness is therefore a central prerequisite for relevant and reliable public statistics.
