At the beginning of the new year, the previous "Strategy 2024" will be replaced by the "Strategy 2025 - 2029". The current strategy is based on the Code of Practice of the European Statistical System, which comprises 16 principles for quality assurance in public statistics and is enshrined in Art. 5 of the Statistics Act. The 2023 peer review was used to assess the Office of Statistics' compliance with the individual quality criteria. The 17 recommendations and the resulting catalog of measures (improvement actions) set out the direction of the strategy and are flanked by suggestions from the 2023 user survey. In addition, ideas from the Office's employees have been incorporated into the strategy.
