As in previous years, the information sheet "Water abstraction from watercourses 2026" applies to water abstraction from watercourses. In Balzers and Ruggell, additional opportunities have been created to irrigate from hydrants. Water may therefore no longer be withdrawn from the following watercourses for irrigation, regardless of the water flow:

• Balzers: Oberaubach / Kappelebach
• Ruggell: Schmettakanal to the confluence with Spiersbach

The information sheet "Water withdrawal from hydrants 2026" also still applies to water withdrawal from hydrants . For a corresponding application, the form must be submitted to the responsible waterworks.
