In August 2026, a total of 160 brand-new vehicles, including 125 passenger cars, were registered for the first time by the Office of Motor Vehicle Registration.
In terms of the most frequently registered passenger cars, BMW ranked first in August 2026 with 15 passenger cars, followed by Mercedes and VW with 12 passenger cars each, and Audi with 10 passenger cars.
Sixty-four were hybrid-electric passenger cars, 40 were all-electric passenger cars, 13 were gasoline-powered vehicles, and eight were registered as diesel vehicles.
