07.06.2023 - In the 2022/23 winter season (November 2022 to April 2023), Liechtenstein hotels recorded a total of 35,880 guest arrivals and 73,263 overnight stays. This corresponds to an increase of 22.8% in guest arrivals and 10.9% in overnight stays compared to the same period in the previous year. With a 49.6% share of overnight stays, Switzerland was the most important country of origin (country of residence) for guests.
A total of 43,524 overnight stays were booked at hotels in the Rhine Valley during the 2022/23 winter season. The Alpenhotels in Steg and Malbun recorded 29,739 overnight stays.
