New record for overnight stays
In the 2024 summer season (May to October 2024), the number of overnight stays in Liechtenstein's hotel industry rose by 1.3% or 1,277 nights compared to the previous year. Guests spent 100,824 overnight stays in hotels in Liechtenstein. This represents a new record in the period from 1990 to 2024. the Alpine hotels in Steg and Malbun accounted for 32,870 overnight stays and the hotels in the Rhine Valley for 67,954 overnight stays.
