Total tax revenue from the state and municipalities amounted to CHF 1,086 million in the 2024 financial year. Compared to the previous year, tax revenue in 2024 decreased by 3.7% or CHF 41.5 million. In the long term, however, tax revenue shows a positive trend. Over the past ten years, they have increased by an average of 3.4% per year.
