The Office for Statistics has published the statistical programme for the years 2025 and 2026.
Current activities include 87 different statistical publications, surveys, data deliveries to Eurostat and international organizations as well as the maintenance of the business register and the building and housing register.
Among the larger and smaller statistical projects in the programme, the development of a strategy for sample surveys, the expansion of macroeconomic statistics, the updating of energy sources in the building and housing register and the adaptation of the legal basis are among the most important projects. Preparations are also underway for the 2025 census.
The statistical program is discussed annually by the Statistics Commission and approved by the government.
