Consumer prices remained stable in June
The National Consumer Price Index (LIK) remained unchanged in June 2026 compared to the previous month, standing at 101.3 points (December 2025 = 100). Compared with the same month a year earlier, inflation stood at +0.5%. This is according to figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The Swiss National Consumer Price Index is adopted monthly by the Office of Statistics in Liechtenstein.
The stability in prices compared to the previous month resulted from opposing trends that offset each other overall. Prices for fruit and stem vegetables rose. Prices also increased in the hotel and hospitality sectors, as well as for car rentals and car-sharing. In contrast, prices for air travel, heating oil, and diesel fell.
