Sustainable development - six areas rated positively

When the indicators for sustainable development are grouped into thematic areas, the trend in six of the ten thematic areas is positive or at least slightly positive. This means that development in these areas is moving towards sustainability. These are the areas of Health, Social Cohesion, Education and Culture, Work, Energy and Climate and Natural Resources. The area of mobility, on the other hand, shows a slightly negative trend and is therefore moving away from sustainability. There is no significant change in the areas of living conditions, International Affairs and Economic Affairs Division. The assessment of development in these areas is therefore neutral.

Of the 55 indicators in total, 34 were rated positively in 2024. Their development points towards sustainability. 14 indicators were rated negatively. They are moving away from sustainability. Seven indicators were assessed as neutral.
