Road traffic law: five amendments to ordinances come into force on November 1, 2024

The amendments to the Traffic Regulation Ordinance (VRV), the Traffic Licensing Ordinance (VZV), the Traffic Insurance Ordinance (VVV), the Chauffeur Licensing Ordinance (CZV) and the Ordinance on the Technical Requirements for Road Vehicles (VTS) have been in force since November 1, 2024. The amendments to the ordinances reflect EU law on the one hand and corresponding Swiss legal adaptations on the other. The aim of the various amendments to the ordinances is to increase road safety.
