Liechtenstein’s direct imports of goods totaled CHF 364 million in the second quarter of 2026, which was CHF 10 million, or 2.9%, higher than the figure for the same quarter of the previous year.
Liechtenstein’s trade in goods is recorded at Swiss border crossings due to the joint customs union. The Movement of Goods Division does not include trade in goods with and via Switzerland in the reported figures. The figures are provisional and are based on the place of dispatch or receipt of the goods. They serve as an early indicator of trends in merchandise trade. The final figures for 2026, based on the registered office of the shipper or consignee, will be published in June 2027.
