As at December 31, 2023, a total of 534 permits for the independent practice of a healthcare profession were counted. Compared to the previous year with 531 licenses, the number has hardly changed. Doctors are by far the most common category with 122 licenses in the reporting year. This figure is 5.4% below 2022.

Compared to the previous year, the number of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations at Liechtenstein State Hospital increased by 9.7% to 5,452 MRI examinations. An average annual increase of 3.2% is calculated for the last 10 years.
