The Liechtenstein education landscape is constantly evolving under the premise of strengthening the tried and tested while remaining open to new developments. What will move the schools in the 2025/26 school year? In August 2025, important topics and projects were presented jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Education Authority at the press conference at the start of the school year in the new "Haus Weiss" school building in Vaduz: Intensive work is being carried out across all school levels to create optimal teaching and learning conditions for everyone involved. In this issue of "Schule heute", the main topic provides in-depth insights into the current reform process WEGM.LI at the Liechtenstein grammar school in Vaduz. In addition, the Sports School 2.0 at lower secondary level opens up a new opportunity for young athletes with a talent for polysports. Another exciting project is called "Making learning visible": the topic of assessment in schools is being rethought. The focus is on the principle that learning is more than just grades.
