As at December 31, 2025, a total of 580 licenses for the independent practice of a healthcare profession were counted. Compared to the previous year with 543 licenses, the number has increased by 6.8%. Doctors are by far the most common category with 129 licenses in the reporting year.
Compared to the previous year, computer tomography examinations at the Liechtenstein State Hospital increased by 1.3% to 4,664 examinations and magnetic resonance examinations decreased by 0.4% to 5,589 examinations.
