Liechtenstein Barcamp "Learning without borders" inspires

90 participants from four different countries, inspiring personalities and lots of ideas - the "Learning without borders" bar camp at the JUFA Hotel Malbun was a complete success. From November 14 to 16, the hotel was transformed into a meeting place for all those who think education forward. The barcamp was hosted by the Office of Education with additional support from sponsors Hilti, Neutrik and Art Computer.

On the first day, Head of the School Board Rachel Guerra welcomed the participants and was delighted with the large turnout and the upcoming exchange of experiences in Malbun. Minister Daniel Oehry was present on Saturday; he has known the Liechtenstein Barcamp since its beginnings and set the mood for the day with his enthusiasm for the format and the topics during the welcoming remarks. The keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Peter Walla entitled "The brain knows more than it admits" presented research methods and results on this topic. The keynote speech by David Halser (PHGR) on Saturday offered exciting insights into the limits and possibilities of "learning without limits" with depth and activities.

The typical Barcamp flair was palpable for two and a half days: the program with the sessions designed by the participants was impressive. Digital learning methods, inclusion, new forms of collaboration, playing and learning, mathematics, AI tools, enabling didactics and other topics were on the agenda. Between presentations and lively discussions, ideas emerged that will have an impact beyond the event.
