Liechtenstein contributes CHF 100,000 to alleviate humanitarian suffering in Sudan.
The military conflict in Sudan has dramatically escalated since 2023, forcing over 875,000 people to flee to South Sudan and displacing up to 11 million within Sudan. More than 3 million refugees now live in neighboring countries. The UNHCR’s aid program provides essential relief, including clean water, medical care, and emergency shelters. Liechtenstein’s contribution demonstrates solidarity with those affected and supports critical humanitarian efforts in one of the world’s most severe crises.
