The traditional Liechtenstein Hunting Show will take place at the SAL in Schaan on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The event is organized by the Office of Environment in collaboration with the Liechtenstein Hunters' Association. The event offers the public insights into the past hunting year and current wildlife research topics.
The hunting exhibition is open to the public for free viewing from 13:30. Hunters will guide visitors through the exhibition and answer questions about hunting and the local game.
The evening program begins at 6:30 pm with an official welcome and words of greeting from Deputy Prime Minister Sabine Monauni. Anna Weber, Head of Division Forests and Landscape at the Office of Environment, and Kevin Marte, President of the Liechtenstein Hunters' Association, will also address the guests.
Afterwards, wildlife biologist and KORA Managing Director Nina Gerber will talk about the lynx. The role of the lynx in the Alpine region, current monitoring findings and opportunities and challenges for Liechtenstein and the region will be highlighted.
The event will be accompanied by music from the Princely Hunting Horn Band.
Catering will be provided for visitors. The organizers are looking forward to welcoming numerous participants to both the afternoon program and the evening event.
