The gender equality indicators were updated with current data. A total of 25 of the 36 existing indicators were updated. No new data was available for 10 indicators. A new indicator has been added in the form of the gender disparity index in the professions. The indicators provide an overview of the development of equality between women and men in Liechtenstein. They are based on the five areas of life: economic participation, education, political participation, public service, health and violence. The indicators on gender equality in Liechtenstein complement the indicator system for sustainable development. The independent goal number 5 of the 2030 Agenda is to achieve gender equality.
