A total of 270 people died in 2023. The main cause of death in 2023 was diseases of the circulatory system. A total of 68 people (25%) of those who died had this cause of death. 58 people (21%) died from cancer. Other relatively common causes of death were old age including dementia (11%) and respiratory diseases (8%). In two cases, the cause of death was accidents or violence (1%), one of which was suicide.
