National consumer price index in October 2025

The national consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.3% in October 2025 compared to the previous month, reaching 107.2 points (December 2020 = 100). Compared to the same month of the previous year, inflation was +0.1%. These are the figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The Swiss consumer price index is published monthly by the Office of Statistics for Liechtenstein.

The decline of 0.3% compared to the previous month is due to various factors, including lower prices in the hotel industry and for package tours abroad. Prices for the rental of private transportation also fell. By contrast, prices for clothing and shoes rose, as did those for maintenance and housekeeping.
