The national consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged in July 2025 compared to the previous month at 107.8 points (December 2020 = 100). Compared to the same month last year, inflation was +0.2%. These are the figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The Swiss National Consumer Price Index is adopted monthly by the Office for Statistics for Liechtenstein.

The price stability compared to the previous month is the result of opposing developments that have balanced each other out overall. Prices for package tours abroad and within Switzerland have fallen, as have those for air travel. Prices for clothing and shoes, which were reduced as part of the clearance sale, also fell. On the other hand, rents for private transportation and prices in the hotel and para-hotel industry have risen.
