The national consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.2% in June 2025 compared to the previous month, reaching 107.8 points (December 2020 = 100). Compared to the same month of the previous year, inflation was +0.1%. This is according to figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The Swiss consumer price index is published monthly by the Office of Statistics for Liechtenstein.
The increase of 0.2% compared to the previous month is due to various factors, including higher prices in the hotel and para-hotel industry as well as for package tours abroad. Rents for private transportation and prices for various vegetables also increased. By contrast, prices for air travel, petrol and stone fruit have fallen.
