From Knowledge to Impact: Aligning Financial Flows with Climate and Biodiversity Goals

Venue: Vaduzer Saal,
Giessenstrasse 7, 9490 Vaduz, Liechtenstein

The Swiss Federal Office for the Environment and the Liechtenstein Office of Environment invite you to the conference “From Knowledge to Impact: Aligning Financial Flows with Climate and Biodiversity Goals.”

The conference is jointly organised with the LIFE Climate Foundation Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein Bankers Association and the environmental authorities of Austria, Germany and Luxembourg.

Taking place in close geographical and temporal proximity to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, the conference will provide a forum for exchange, orientation and networking at the intersection of financial markets, environmental policy, science and practice.

We will explore how scientific evidence on climate- and biodiversity-related risks can inform financial decision-making, how green finance can remain credible and effective in a changing environment, and how public finance for environmental objectives can mobilise private investment for real-world transformation.

The conference is aimed at decision-makers, practitioners and experts from the financial sector, academia, public administration, politics, NGOs, foundations, development and environmental finance, as well as other practice-oriented institutions working to align financial flows with climate and biodiversity goals.

Please save the date. The conference website will soon be updated with the programme and registration link.
