The Swiss Federal Office for the Environment and the Liechtenstein Office for Environmental Protection invite you to the conference ‘Science and Practice for Green Finance’.

The conference is being organised in collaboration with the LIFE Climate Foundation, the Liechtenstein Bankers’ Association and the environmental agencies of Germany, Luxembourg and Austria.

Taking place in close temporal and geographical proximity to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, the conference provides a forum for exchange, guidance and networking at the interface between the financial markets, environmental policy, science and practice.

The focus is on how scientific findings on climate and biodiversity risks can be incorporated into financial decisions, how green finance can remain credible and effective even in a changing environment, and how public environmental financing can mobilise private investment for concrete transformation.

The conference will be opened by Sabine Monauni, Deputy Head of Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Attendees will include high-profile guests from the financial sector, academia, public administration, politics, non-governmental organisations, foundations, and the fields of development and environmental finance.
