Introduction of the QR-bill as a new payment option from July 2025
As part of the ongoing digitalization process, the Office of National Economy will be offering the QR-bill as a new, user-friendly payment option from the beginning of July 2025. It replaces the previous IBAN transfer to the state administration.
After selecting the "Invoice" option in the application form, applicants will receive two emails:
- an order confirmation (an "Invoice" invoice is ordered);
- the QR-bill for direct payment.
Payment is also processed via our partner Payrexx AG for this option.
Please note: Only paid applications will be processed - if payment is not received, the application will be rejected.
From the beginning of July 2025, you will be able to choose between "Credit card" and "Invoice" (QR-bill) in the application process. The system will then automatically guide you through the next steps.
This enhancement will make the payment process even simpler, more secure and more convenient.
