In 2025, the 11 banking institutions in Liechtenstein recorded a total net new money inflow of CHF 13.1 billion and managed client assets of CHF 239.5 billion as at 31 December 2025. The number of employees in Liechtenstein at the end of 2025 remained stable compared to the previous year and amounted to 2,982 full-time and part-time employees. The total assets of the banking institutions operating in Liechtenstein amounted to CHF 80.4 billion as at 31 December 2025. Compared to the previous year, they decreased by CHF 4.3 billion or 5.1% in the reporting year. The result from ordinary activities increased by CHF 76.3 million to CHF 516.8 million compared to the previous year and is above the average of the last five years (2020-2024: CHF 365.9 million).
