In 2024, the 10 banking institutions in Liechtenstein recorded a total net new money inflow of CHF 3.7 billion and managed client assets of CHF 217.3 billion as at 31 December 2024. The number of employees in Liechtenstein rose by 116 to 2,985 full-time and part-time employees as at the end of 2024. Total assets of the banking institutions operating in Liechtenstein amounted to CHF 84.8 billion as at 31 December 2024. Following a decline in the previous year, they increased by CHF 3.2 billion or 4.0% in the reporting year compared to the previous year. The result from ordinary activities decreased by CHF 133.0 million year-on-year to CHF 440.5 million, but is above the average of the last five years (2019-2023: CHF 346.9 million).
