In 2023, a total of 189 foreign nationals residing in Liechtenstein were naturalized.

61.4% of naturalized citizens were granted Liechtenstein citizenship as a result of long-term residence. A further 14.8% were naturalized as a result of marriage and 23.3% on the basis of the ordinary procedure (citizens' vote). In addition, 0.5% (one person) were naturalized through adoption. No naturalizations by foreign children of Liechtenstein mothers and legitimation were recorded.

In addition, 50 people who lived abroad were naturalized.
