According to the provisional results, the permanent population of Liechtenstein on December 31, 2023 was 40,023 people in total.

Within a year, the foreign permanent population increased by 94 people to 13,728. The number of Liechtenstein residents with Liechtenstein citizenship grew by 252 to 26,295 in the same period. The proportion of foreigners fell slightly by 0.1 percentage points to 34.3%.
