The Office for Communications (AK) is the regulatory, supervisory and administrative authority of Liechtenstein in the fields of telecommunication, radio, television, Cable TV and Internet. Following the liberalisation of the telecommunication markets as well as new European legal conditions AK was established on 1.1.1999. With a small team of 6 people, AK holds responsibility of Liechtenstein ICT market and cooperates tightly with the Federal Office of Communications in Switzerland (OFCOM) and Internet domain registration (SWITCH).
